Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the LiveTranslations platform at livetranslations.video ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and LiveTranslations ("we", "us", "our").

2. Service Description

LiveTranslations provides an AI-powered video dubbing platform that allows users to:

  • Submit videos via YouTube links, TikTok links, or direct file upload
  • Select a target language from 29 supported languages
  • Receive dubbed versions of the video with AI-generated voice synthesis
  • Preview 10 seconds of any dubbing for free (up to 3 previews per day)
  • Purchase credits to dub full-length videos

The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.

3. Account Registration

  • You must create an account using a valid email address or Google OAuth to access the Service.
  • You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials.
  • You must not share your account with others or create multiple accounts.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

4. Credit System and Payments

4.1 Credit Packs

Dubbing jobs consume credits based on the source video duration at a rate of 1 credit per minute (rounded up to the nearest minute). Credits are purchased in advance via Stripe in one of our available credit packs.

4.2 Free Previews

Every user receives 3 free 10-second preview dubs per day. Previews do not consume credits. Daily preview limits reset at midnight UTC.

4.3 Credit Properties

  • Credits are non-transferable between accounts
  • Purchased credits do not expire
  • All prices are displayed in Euros (EUR) and include applicable taxes

4.4 Automatic Refunds

If a dubbing job fails due to a technical error, the credits consumed by that job are automatically refunded to your account balance. No action is required on your part.

5. Refund Policy

  • Failed jobs: Credits are automatically refunded to your account.
  • Quality complaints: If you are dissatisfied with the dubbing quality, contact us within 48 hours of job completion. We will refund the credits or offer a free re-dub at our discretion.
  • Unused credits: You may request a monetary refund for unused credits within 14 days of purchase, as required by EU consumer protection law (Directive 2011/83/EU).
  • Used credits: Credits that have been consumed by completed dubbing jobs are not eligible for monetary refund.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Submit videos for which you do not hold the rights to create derivative works or translations
  • Use the Service to produce content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, threatening, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
  • Create deepfake, misleading, or deceptive content that impersonates real individuals without their consent
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or gain unauthorized access to the platform or its underlying systems
  • Overload or abuse the Service through automated scripts, bots, or excessive API calls
  • Circumvent rate limits, credit checks, or access controls
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service or dubbed outputs in violation of applicable intellectual property rights

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Your Content

You retain all intellectual property rights to the original content you submit. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights and permissions to submit content for dubbing.

7.2 Dubbed Output

The dubbed output is provided for your personal or commercial use, subject to any rights held by the original content creator. LiveTranslations does not claim ownership over your content or the dubbed output.

7.3 Our Platform

The LiveTranslations platform, including its design, code, branding, and AI models, is our intellectual property or that of our licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to our intellectual property beyond what is necessary to use the Service.

8. Content Restrictions

We reserve the right to refuse processing or remove any content that:

  • Violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringes on third-party intellectual property rights
  • Contains hate speech, violence, or sexually explicit material
  • Poses a risk of harm to individuals or groups

9. Service Availability and Modifications

  • We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
  • We may perform scheduled maintenance, deploy updates, or make modifications that temporarily affect availability.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service with reasonable notice.
  • In case of planned discontinuation, we will provide at least 30 days notice and facilitate download of any remaining output files.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • LiveTranslations shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • We shall not be liable for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, whether incurred directly or indirectly.
  • Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
  • These limitations apply regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that: (a) the Service will meet your specific requirements; (b) the dubbing quality will be free of errors or inaccuracies; (c) the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or available at all times; or (d) any defects in the Service will be corrected.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LiveTranslations and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights; or (d) any content you submit to the Service.

13. Account Termination

  • By you: You may delete your account at any time. Unused credits are forfeited upon voluntary account deletion unless you request a refund within the applicable period.
  • By us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or create risk for the platform. We will provide notice and an opportunity to download your data where reasonably possible.

Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the member state in which we are established, without regard to conflict of law principles.

In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to first contact us at info@savemytime.dev so we can attempt to resolve the matter informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be resolved in the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under EU law, including the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top and, for significant changes, by email notification. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
