How long does a dub take?
Usually a few minutes. The free ten-second preview is often ready in under a minute, and long videos take longer. If you allow notifications, the iPhone app tells you when the dub is ready; on the website, we email you when a full dub is ready.
Are songs dubbed?
No. Spoken words are dubbed; sung vocals stay as they are.
What is a credit?
One credit dubs one started minute of video. Every account gets one free 10-second preview. Credits do not expire, and a dub that fails gives its credits back.
Which videos can I dub?
MP4, MOV, WebM, AVI or MKV files, up to 499 MB and up to 120 minutes long. You can dub them into 29 languages.
How long is a finished dub kept?
30 days, then it is deleted. Save or download it before then.
How do I get a refund?
For credits bought in the iPhone app, ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com (opens in a new tab); Apple decides under its own rules. For credits bought on the website, you can ask for your money back on unused credits within 14 days of purchase: email us. The details are in the terms.
How do I report a problem with a dub?
Open the dub's page and choose Report this dub. Pick a reason and add a note if you want; we read every report.
